Simon Bulimoh has taught on the faculty at Friends Theological College, Kaimosi, since August 2004. A pastor in the Friends Church, Simon is also director of the colleges Certificate Program, which can be attained by a one-year residential program or by a three-year short course (three intensive sessions per year, conducted during school holidays). The Certificate curriculum focuses on developing skills in pastoral ministry. Homiletics, Pastoral Counseling and Introduction to Scripture are among Simon's teaching specialties. He is a member of Chekalini Village Meeting in Lugari Yearly Meeting. Simon studied at Friends Theological College and International Christian Ministries (ICM) in Eldoret. He is currently pursuing a master's degree through distance learning and intensive courses with Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology. Simon is co-author of a Kaimosi Friends Press pamphlet, Widows & Orphans: "True Religion" for Friends. His wife, Pamela Igesa, also a Friends pastor, serves as Chaplain at FTC. They have four sons. |
